I’m Oliver Gottlieb,
A passionate Engineer who finds inspiration in realising challenging task.
I have a Master in Chemical Engineering – Process Engineer from the Technical University of Karlsruhe (TU)/Germany & I graduated in 2002. Since then am I working in the regulated (GMP) industry. First as a project Manager and Process specialist for Pharmaceutical equipment at now Syntegon/Hüttlin (here fluid beds and high Shear Mixers). After that I moved for a few years into Pharmaceutical Manufacturing of Oral Solid Dosage forms at Ferring Pharmaceuticals in St. Prex, Switzerland. After that I moved in 2007 to Denmark, to Join NNE, NovoNordisk Engineering. There I developed the taste for difficult challenges and trouble shooting. I am regarded as a SME for High Containment, Chemical API/Synthesis Processes & Manufacturing, solids handling, OSD Processes & Manufacturing.
Now, besides my normal day job at NNE, do I support mainly equipment and interface suppliers in realising difficult tasks around high containment. this can include optimising or implementing containment equipment or interfaces for clients in needs as well as fitting the GMP requirements met in those environments. I am not shy to tell if something seems edgy and is not according standards. Currently I focus mainly on Europe, meaning the European Union, United Kingdom and Switzerland.
I am a member of the ISPE DACH COP CON – Containment Steering committee and was also a Co-Author of the ISPE DACH Containment Manual 2nd edition and the ISPE DACH Containment Manual English edition. Further more was I Co-Autor of the ISPE Global Practice Guide – Containment of Potent Compounds. After that did I join the ISPE Intl Containment Group and down the line of this am I also supporting them as a Co-Author the SMEPAC Update that will be released end of 2024.
- so if you need to know first hand the stuff that is about containment – feel free to ask me for help …
